PrizeQuestion is an entertainment quiz site for those who enjoy intellectually stimulating games like sudoku, crossword puzzles and trivia quizzes. Each day a new and difficult question or riddle is asked. The first to answer correctly wins a daily prize. The most questions answered correctly each month wins a valuable prize.

Playing PrizeQuestion is free. However, before you can play you must register.

Simply go to the registration page by clicking on the link at the top of the page or on the menu bar. Fill in your name, email address and postal address and choose a username and password. You will then receive an email. Click on the link to confirm your registration. You are then ready to play

To prevent cheating prizes to non-members are delivered by post. If only email addresses were required then there would be nothing to stop unscrupulous people having multiple email addresses and usernames and therefore being able to submit multiple answers. As only one player per postal address is allowed, everyone can only submit one answer per question.

A daily PrizeWindow can open at any time. You have to keep an eye out for when the window is about to open. Watch out for the timer at the top of the PrizeWindow. When the window is about to open it will start counting down an hour beforehand. Once the timer reaches 0:00:00 it will begin counting up to 24:00:00 and then it’s game on! Click on the enter button next to the timer. If you have not previously logged in you will be asked to do so at this point. You will then be given a simple qualifying question set by the prize sponsor. Once you have answered this correctly you will be brought to the main question page. When you have figured out the answer, enter it into the box provided and click on the submit button

You don’t, unless you become a member. As a member when you log into the site you are told when the next PrizeWindow is due to open.

The daily PrizeWindow remains open for 24 hours.

The first correct answer submitted wins the daily prize.

At weekends there is a change in the format. At midday GMT on Fridays the weekender PrizeWindow opens. The weekender consists of 3 questions. You must answer all 3 correctly. The weekender PrizeWindow remains open until midday GMT on Monday. All fully correct entries are then entered into a draw for that weekends prize.

In order to win the monthly prize you must become a member. You can become a member anytime up to The 10th of the month and still be eligible to win that months prize.

No! We don’t expect many to know the answer off the top of their heads. While the questions are difficult, they are not impossible. Don’t expect however to just be able to type the question into google and get the correct answer back. They are designed to test your resourcefulness to the full.

Theres a few answers to this one. A. You could just be mistaken. B. I could be mistaken. C. There could be more than one correct answer. In the case of B or C above there is an appeals proceedure. When the PrizeWindow closes the answer is posted. If you have a genuine issue with the given answer you have 24 hours to appeal. Click on the appeals button and fill in the form. If you have a case it will be taken into account. Please note though that there can be no appeals after the 24 hour time period has elapsed and the QuestionMasters judgement is final and no correspondance etc. etc.

Yes. 1. Enjoy the challenge. Its designed to be entertaining and educational so dont take it too seriously. 2. Spelling is very important if you misspell names you are likely to be marked wrong. 3. No matter what form the question takes - the answers are always expected in english. 4. If the answer is a number it should be expressed numerically ie. 15 not fifteen. 5. If you want to be the first to answer you should research the website of the sponsor in order to answer the qualifing question immediately. Incorrect answers to the qualifing multiple choice questions result in a 5 minute lockout.
